I am due January 11th, 2021 with my second son, Sebastian Brave!
Can I just share how happy this post makes me?
I am already blessed beyond what I deserve with our first son Nehemiah, but our family has so longed and waited for this baby boy. I get so much joy making portraits and it is my passion, but ohhhhh my mother heart is so ready to meet this baby. After two losses, four years, and watching other families grow so fast…this season of waiting has felt long. The fact that I am writing this post makes it more real. He is really coming, and I can’t wrap my mind around that.
When will you start your maternity leave?
December 22nd will be my last day that I will photograph sessions. I will spend the remaining weeks tying up loose ends on the back end of my business. However, babies come on their own schedule and these dates are not set in stone. Many of you know that Nehemiah was born 8 weeks prematurely, so we know anything is possible with Sebastian’s arrival. We are praying diligently that God would bless us with a full term pregnancy this go around!
Should I inquire about a 2021 session with you?
YES! Please email hello@estherziegler.com about a session. That would be an incredible way to support me during my leave. Having a clearer vision of 2021 bookings, will help me plan childcare and outsourcing. We will be accepting bookings during maternity leave and look forward to connecting with you.
When will your calendar open up again?
Mid-February: I will open a few dates specifically for Baby Heirloom Sessions. I will plan to baby-wear Sebastian while I shoot the session.
Mid-March: I will offer my “Easter Bunny Baby” themed sessions in the studio. I will continue opening more dates for Baby Heirloom Sessions (3-12 month olds).
Late-March & Early April: *Spoiler alert* I will offer Spring Sessions outdoors for families! They will be much like my fall sessions this year, but with beautiful blooms of course!
Mid-April & May: I will offer a special on Studio Motherhood Sessions & resume all normal sessions offered: newborn, family, maternity, cake smash, first birthday, professional head shots, and boudoir.
